Hi everyone, today I'm gonna a talk about an expert that I admire. Gregor Mendel was a German-Czech biologist, monk and mathematician, he was born on 20 July 1822 in Germany and death on 6 January 1884. Mendel gained posthumous recognition as a founder of the modern science of genetic.He worked with seven characteristics of pea plants. Him work has some benefits, like short harvest time or low cost, because the seeds are inexpensive, he proposed proportions between the characters of the offspring. To explain this proportions Mendel coined the term "recessive" and "dominant" in reference to certain characteristics, so for example the green color is recessive and yellow color is dominant. Independent of that him discoveries weren't considered until 1900.
